A little bit about Charlie Davies....

Charlie Davies is a wedding photographer in his mid-thirties. If you're reading this, then you're probably interested in finding out a little more about him; read on, and we'll fill in some blanks about this assertive, creative and talented lensman.

Charlie lived in Chamonix, France for ten years and it was in this international melting pot of sport, music and action that he started taking photographs. Hasty snapshots turned into considered portraits, which rapidly developed into Alpine chalet interiors and shots of wingsuiters in action. Charlie's career took off fast, and his eye was often sought to document social gatherings, days on the mountain or in the sky and, eventually, weddings. After some time assisting and shadowing an established wedding pro Charlie realized that shooting weddings was his calling, and starting organising wedding photography full-time. Word spread fast, and he left Chamonix as without question the most in-demand British wedding photographer for miles.

Since the Chamonix days, he has shot marriage ceremonies and receptions all around London and the Home Counties, in the Lake District, all across mainland France, Corsica, Barcelona, Italy and Hong Kong. He also photographs and films for Motion Picture House in Soho, and is resident photographer for winter events company Ten80.
